8 MONTHS LATER YOU WHEN CHECK UP ON ME?

i get a phone call as im slowly driftin to sleep.
i didnt recognize the # & i wasnt gonna answer it anyway.
but somethin told me too.
so on the other line there person says "whats up what you doin"
i knew the voice to well. but i pretended as if i didnt & asked "who is this"
& he responds "so you forgot my voice damn" im like "man i know who this, why are you callin me what do you want?" "i miss you, & im just tryna check up on ya to see how you been doin" hmm smh. 8 motnhs later mr. ronnie roberts wants to check up on me. my heart dropped. we talked 5 mins or less & he had the nerve to ask "had i been fckin anyone else" nope 8 months strong & 8 months single. i dnt plan on it no time soon either unless im in a serious relationship & i feel COMFORTABLE enough.
only time will tell. im just shocked & confused ... now im thinkin abt all the memories more & more rapidly & often everyday more than i usually do. anybody that knows me knows i loved the shit outta him & i still do. thanks to my guardian angel (wel) i saw some things in a better perspective & im not gonna jump into anything. im not gonna call him. ive been doin good this long. if he wanna talk to me, sure he can but i dont plan on makin anything happen with him. if he has changed. & wants to be with me. it will have to be on my terms. NOT HIS. he will have to prove it to me. & im not bullshitin. listen to T.O.N.Y. BY SOLANGE & its my situation perfectly. i cant believe im even considerin bein back with him, im not fully sayin that either. im just statin what would happen if it gets to that point. as of now though im good. single life is better for me right now.
even though i am missing him everyday, this has thrown me off. & i think he knew it would. he knows me too well, but im not gonna show that.

I graduated with my associates, May 2013. It took me longer to achieve it due to so many hardships, and losses. It was such a huge accomplishment for me, since the prior year I had my daughter and lost her father all in the same year. I wanted to get my BSN (nursing degree), but the flexibility of the program was something I could not work with. I did all the necessary prepping for nursing school, practice test, all required courses, etc. I was so disappointed, but me being a parent comes first, and me working has to be done first. Eventually I found a new love, which is my current job, of advising. I always wanted to be in a field of helping people. I am currently a financial aid advisor, and I love what I do however, I would love to continue to be further in education! Last semester I took on three classes, which has never really been challenging to me, but now I am taking four. MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK & HIS NAME IS OBAMA, BARACK OBAMA THAT IS!! BELIEVE THAT! Today in society ppl are use to seeing "white" men in office and now that this powerful black man stepped his foot in the door its turnin ppls nose's the other way! Its a shame that our society is soooo prejudice but I know i have my voters registration card and im voting for OBAMA. NOT BC HES BLACK, but bc I love & understand what HE STANDS FOR. It sucks that the youth 18-25 age ranges dont vote and that black ppl dont vote when really our vote will make the difference, but they figure it doesnt matter, YES IT DOES! VOTE PPL! and dont be fooled by MCCAINS CHOICE OF HAVIN A FEMALE VP ITS ONLY TRYIN TO THROW US OFF! She isnt very experienced and I WOULDNT want her as a president if somethin would happen to MCCAIN so be smart, VOTE! DONT COMPLAIN IF YOUR NOT VOTING YOU CANT COMPLAIN IF YOU DONT VOTE !
